Our students are currently involved in such diverse research projects as developing new techniques for using one of the world's largest antenna arrays, analyzing ground- and satellite-based optical and radio observations to better understand irregularities in the ionosphere, developing a new lidar system to study the dynamics of the mesosphere, and working on optimal numerical techniques to create tomographic images of the ionosphere using multiple datastreams.
